MOMS Club Of New Tampa
The MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) club of New Tampa, which offers a variety of activities for stay-at-home mothers, is looking for new members. The club boundaries include all of the New Tampa area, except for Tampa Palms, Grand Hampton and Live Oak Preserve.

Parkinson’s Support Group
Wednesday, January 4, 1 p.m. - Come out for an educational, emotional and social support for those living with Parkinson's disease as well as family, friends and caregivers. This group is cofacilitated by Faye Kern (Coordinator, American Parkinson's Disease Association) and Shirley Berkery (John Knox Village Home Health), and is sponsored by the American Parkinson's Disease Association. Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of every month in the Private Dining Room (located in the tower) of St. Joseph's John Knox Village (4100 E. Fletcher Ave. Tampa, FL 33613). Next meeting will be held on January 4th. Snacks and refreshments are provided.

American Cancer Society Seeks New Tampa Volunteers
Tuesday, January 10, 6:30 p.m. — The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers and teams for the New Tampa Relay For Life. The Kick-Off Party for the event will be held at Hunter’s Green Country Club.
The goal is to engage volunteers in recruiting and assembling teams, seeking community support, coordinating logistics, securing donated refreshments and prizes, planning entertainment and lending their support in any way.

Griefshare Recovery Support Group
Tuesday January 10, 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. - This group meets every Tuesday for those grieving the death of someone close. Meet others who understand the pain of loss. The program is conducted at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, 2902 W. Fletcher Ave., Room 307.
